Description Mayco Foundations are a basic color palette developed for contemporary ceramic studios. Foundations glazes lay down smoothly, won't pick up previous coats, and show almost no brush strokes - making base coating easy.
As a base, they provide an excellent "foundation" for decorative brushwork using Stroke & Coat glazes.
Directions Shake well. Apply 2-3 coats to shelf cone 04 bisque (1940° F / 1060° C). Let dry and fire to shelf cone 06 (1830° F / 999° C). Compatible with Stroke & Coat. Fires to a gloss finish–clear glaze not required.
