INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Cast the mold in usual manner. Allow to dry. Clean the greenware with a Clean-Up Tool. Bisque fire to cone 04.
  2. Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
  3. In a small 2oz Cup, mix the following colors to create teal color. 1¼ tsp SS-335 Rich Blue, ½ tsp SS-276 Forest Green and ¼ tsp 317 Turquoise.
  4. Basecoat the pumpkin with 1-2 coats of the teal mix to the whole pumpkin. Allow to dry!
  5. Drybrush the pumpkin with 2 coats of MM-105 Gold Metallic. Allow to dry!
  6. In a small 2oz Cup, mix the following colors 1/4tsp SS-81 Shimmering Silver and 1/4tsp MM-105 Gold Metallic to create a champagne gold.
  7. Drybrush the high areas of the pumpkin to highlight.
  8. Drybrush the stem with SS-81 Shimmering Silver.
  9. Shade the deep crevices of the pumpkin with the basecoat color. Allow to dry!
  10. Apply 1-2 coats of AC-502 Matte Sealer to the piece.
  11. DO NOT FIRE!
