INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Cast the molds in usual manner. Allow Greenware to dry!  Clean the greenware with a Clean-Up Tool. 
  2. Bisque fire to cone 04.
  3. Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
  4. Using a Basecoat Brush, basecoat the Deer’s Body and Antlers with 1 – 2 coats of SS-24 Chocolate Fudge.
  5. Basecoat the Hat and Scarf with OS480 Garnet Red.
  6. Basecoat the Sweater with OS-488 Christmas Green.
  7. Basecoat the Hooves & Nose with SS-138 Black
  8. Allow to dry!
  9. Using various size Drybrush’s, drybrush as follows:
    1. Reindeer body: OS489 Saddle Brown then SS-194 Medium Taupe followed by SS-212 Light Umber. Highlight with SS-45 Buttermilk then SS-135 White.
  10. Drybrush the Muzzle with SS-45 Buttermilk then highlight with SS-135 White.
  11. Drybrush the inside of the ears lightly with SS-183 Rich Peach.
  12. Drybrush the Antlers with OS-489 Saddle Brown then SS-234 Medium Mocha. Highlight with SS-45 Buttermilk.
  13. Drybrush the Hat and Scarf with OS-568 Fire Thorn then OS-445 Holly Red. Highlight with OS-484 Persimmon.
  14. Drybrush the Sweater with SS-376 Limeburst every other stipe and SS-45 Buttermilk to the other stripes.
  15. Drybrush the Hooves and the Nose with SS-130 Medium Gray. Then, Highlight with SS-135 White. Allow to dry!
  16. Float some SS-24 Chocolate Fudge in the crevices of the Reindeers body and around the antlers next to the body.
  17. Apply 2 coats of AC-502 Matte Sealer to the Reindee. Allow to dry!
  18. Apply 2 coats of AC-501 Gloss Sealer to the Hooves & Nose. Allow to dry!
  19. Apply AS-494 Glittering Snow to the tops of the Antlers, Ears, Hat and anywhere else you may like. Allow to dry!
  20. Do Not Fire!
