Whether basking in the sun, cooling off in the shade, or standing among the veggies and flowers, this garden turtle is sure to please. Ironically reminiscent of the common “Painted Turtle”, which got its name because it’s usual red and yellow striped design on the head, neck, feet and tail give it the appearance of being hand-painted. It’s smiling face, wrinkly life-like neck, large eyes, and bubbly shell, make decorating this turtle so much fun.
